The Crane Operator will operate a telescoping hydraulic crane engineered to sit atop a lattice scaffold tower structure. This position is responsible for working on water tower construction projects by transferring from one task to another where demands require worker with varied experience.
Essential Functions:
- Lift, move, position, and place materials.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Rigging knowledge.
- Frequently climb ladders.
- Ability to routinely work away from home.
- Understanding of OHSA O Reg 213/91 Sections 149 through 156 – Cranes, Hoisting & Rigging.
- Signaling of cranes and other construction equipment.
Non-Essential Functions:
- Understanding of various forming systems and requirements.
- Reinforcing Steel and Mesh placement.
- Concrete placement & finishing.
- Scaffolding erection, use and removal.
Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Minimum of 3 years of crane operation experience performing lifts in heavy construction environments.

Must be able to travel frequently and work at heights.

Possess minimum 0 – 8 ton mobile Crane Operator license in accordance with CSA Z-150 training Standards.
