About the role

We are partnered with an awesome Workday Partner that is continuing to grow its Canadian Workday practice and is looking for a Bilingual Workday Payroll Manager to join the team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has strong Workday Payroll delivery experience, enjoys consulting, and wants to play a key role in leading client-facing payroll work across Workday deployments. Experience with Absence and Time Tracking would be highly desirable, but the main priority is Workday Payroll.

The role will focus on leading Workday Payroll workstreams, running client workshops, understanding customer requirements, designing strong solutions and working closely with wider HCM, integrations and functional teams to deliver successful outcomes.

Key focus areas: Lead Workday Payroll workstreams across client deployments. Run client workshops, gather requirements and translate business needs into Workday solutions. Configure and oversee Workday Payroll design and delivery. Support Absence and Time Tracking discussions where needed, with experience in these areas being highly desirable. Partner with wider Workday HCM, integrations, reporting and technical teams to make sure the solution works end to end. Support clients through design, build, testing, go-live and post-production support. Help manage tricky client situations, rescue workstreams where needed and bring a calm, solution-focused consulting approach. Coach and support more junior consultants across delivery, configuration and client engagement.

What we are looking for: Bilingual French and English communication skills. Strong Workday Payroll experience. Consulting experience is key. Experience leading client workshops. Strong understanding of end to end implementation delivery. Ideally 4 or more full implementation cycles across Workday Payroll or an HCM and Payroll platform. Absence and Time Tracking experience would be highly desirable. Strong client-facing skills with the ability to manage stakeholders at different levels. Comfortable dealing with ambiguity, problem solving and figuring out the best route forward. Strong attention to detail, organisation and analytical ability. Someone who is curious, reliable, passionate about delivery and enjoys helping clients succeed.

Why this role is exciting: Join a growing Workday Partner with strong client demand. Work on meaningful Workday Payroll projects, with exposure to Absence and Time Tracking where relevant. Step into a visible Manager-level role with ownership across delivery and client outcomes. Be part of a collaborative consulting team where you can lead, coach and keep developing your Workday expertise. Hybrid working model with limited travel, expected around 10 percent depending on client needs.
