Part-Time Engagement (:24 hrs/week) Flexible scheduling based on project needs 100% Onsite in Regina, Saskatchewan
The Enterprise Architect will lead enterprise architecture strategy, governance, and digital transformation initiatives for the Government of Saskatchewan.
This role will function as a senior advisor, ensuring alignment between business strategy and IT architecture while establishing governance frameworks, standards, and long-term roadmaps across multiple domains.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Architecture Strategy & Governance
Lead enterprise architecture strategy, standards, and governance frameworks Develop architecture principles, policies, and roadmaps Chair architecture governance boards and review committees
Solution Architecture Oversight
Review and approve solution architectures across domains Ensure alignment with enterprise standards and security frameworks Support integrated architecture across business, application, data, and technology layers
Business Capability & Transformation
Support business capability planning and service design Align IT strategy with organizational goals Drive digital transformation and modernization initiatives
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Partner with business and IT leadership Mentor and guide architecture teams Provide strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders
Compliance & Security Alignment
Ensure architecture aligns with cybersecurity and compliance requirements Support enterprise-wide governance and regulatory adherence
Must-Have Qualifications
TOGAF 9 (or newer) Certification - Required Strong Enterprise Architecture experience in a formal architecture practice Experience working within structured frameworks (TOGAF-based environments) Ability to work 100% onsite in Regina, Saskatchewan Availability for part-time (:24 hrs/week) engagement
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with public sector / government organizations Experience in digital transformation and modernization initiatives Experience in enterprise governance and architecture boards Experience in multi-domain architecture (Business, Application, Data, Technology, Security)
