About the Role: Teqfocus is hiring a senior Salesforce Billing & CPQ Technical Lead / Solution Architect for a confidential enterprise SaaS customer. This is a critical client-facing role supporting Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce Billing, Quote-to-Cash, multi-tenant billing migration, contract and subscription creation, production enhancements, billing issue resolution, and future billing architecture transformation. This role is ideal for someone who can go beyond Salesforce development and operate as a technical lead, CPQ/Billing architect, business translator, delivery owner, and mentor for a distributed team.

Key Responsibilities: Lead technical solutioning for Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce Billing, Quote-to-Cash, subscription billing, and revenue lifecycle workstreams. Design and deliver scalable solutions across product catalog, pricing, quoting, approvals, orders, contracts, subscriptions, amendments, renewals, billing, and invoicing. Support complex pricing and billing models including usage-based billing, tiered pricing, slab pricing, volume pricing, subscription pricing, dynamic discounts, and bundled products. Lead or support multi-tenant billing migration, production data loads, contract creation, subscription creation, renewal/amendment validation, reconciliation, cutover, and hypercare activities. Resolve production CPQ/Billing issues, including billing defects, data issues, deployment bottlenecks, and long-term follow-up items. Design Salesforce-to-external-billing integration patterns using APIs, middleware, event-driven flows, error handling, retries, and reconciliation. Work with stakeholders across Revenue Operations, Product, Pricing, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, and Operations to convert business needs into scalable technical designs. Provide hands-on technical leadership across Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, Salesforce CPQ configuration, Salesforce Billing configuration, APIs, and data model design. Conduct design reviews, code reviews, impact analysis, deployment readiness reviews, and technical risk assessments. Mentor Salesforce developers and admins on CPQ/Billing, integration patterns, production-quality delivery, and technical best practices.
Required Experience: 10+ years of overall IT experience, including 7+ years of Salesforce experience. Prior experience as a Salesforce Technical Lead, CPQ Lead, Billing Lead, Revenue Cloud Architect, Salesforce Solution Architect, or similar role. Strong experience with Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce Billing, Quote-to-Cash, and subscription billing. Experience in subscription, usage-based, multi-tenant, or high-volume billing environments. Experience with contracts, orders, subscriptions, renewals, amendments, invoices, payments, tax, and billing data migration or validation. Experience integrating Salesforce with payment, tax, finance, provisioning, portal, middleware, or custom billing platforms. Experience working directly with US or global client stakeholders in a consulting or client-facing delivery model.
Required Technical Skills: Salesforce Platform: Sales Cloud, Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce Billing, Revenue Cloud concepts, Salesforce data model, security model, Flows, validation rules, and approval processes. Development: Apex, LWC, REST/SOAP APIs, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, async processing, Platform Events or event-driven design, test classes, and debugging. CPQ/Billing: Product rules, price rules, bundles, discount schedules, contracted pricing, amendments, renewals, orders, invoices, proration, usage-based pricing, tiered/slab pricing, and quote-to-order flows. Migration & Validation: Cohort-based data loads, contract/subscription/order migration, renewal/amendment cascade validation, reconciliation, rollback planning, and hypercare. Integration: Middleware such as Workato, MuleSoft, or Boomi; payment, tax, finance, provisioning, portal, and custom billing engine integrations. Delivery: Agile delivery, Git/CI-CD awareness, deployment planning, code review, design documentation, production support, root cause analysis, and stakeholder communication.
Preferred Skills: Salesforce Revenue Cloud or Salesforce Billing implementation/migration experience. Experience with next-generation billing platforms or custom billing engine integration. Experience with product, price, or SKU migrations. Experience with high-volume production billing support and defect triage. Experience with Figma, mock APIs, POCs, or business process prototypes. Experience supporting enterprise SaaS product launches.
Certifications Preferred: Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist Salesforce Platform Developer I Salesforce Administrator Good to have: Platform Developer II, Sales Cloud Consultant, Revenue Cloud Consultant, Application Architect, System Architect, Sharing and Visibility Architect, MuleSoft, or Workato certifications.
