Application Deadline: 07/06/2026 Address: 33 Dundas Street West Job Family Group: Technology Provides production and end-user support and governance for the risk technical platform and system environment that supports risk data & control structures (e.g. process controls, user access controls, data integrity controls) to enable risk processes and operations. Supports and oversees the planning, maintenance and change management for risk system strategies, process changes, system parameter changes, production schedules, and operational tasks. Oversees the management of system parameter changes. Works with stakeholders to resolve issues and provide solutions that ensure service delivery and effectiveness. Strategic Leadership & Advisory Provides strategic input into business and credit risk decisions as a trusted advisor, incorporating AI capabilities, limitations, and risk considerations into decision frameworks. Makes recommendations to senior leaders on AI-driven credit risk strategies executional approaches, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations (e.g., OSFI model risk, fairness, explainability). Advises on adoption of AI for underwriting, monitoring, adjudication, and collections, balancing innovation with risk appetite and customer impact. AI Strategy, Roadmap & Execution Recommends business priorities and develops AI roadmap for credit risk transformation (e.g., decision automation, early warning systems, de-risking strategies) Leads the integration of AI capabilities into Credit Risk Decision Platform, ensuring alignment with existing upstream/downstream systems Analytical Leadership & Independent Challenge Conducts independent analysis to assess: AI related output relating to (accuracy, stability, drift) Model limitations and failure modes (including hallucinations in LLM use cases) AI Development & Validation Controls Establishes and oversees AI development best practices including: Controlled sampling strategies for LLM use cases (e.g., low-temperature, validation loops) Grounding techniques (RAG, policy-based constraints) Advise of training ensuring data/context is consistent with production implementations Tested across edge cases, stress scenarios, and population segments Partners with Model Validation teams to ensure independent validation prior to deployment Incident Management & Root Cause Analysis Collaborates with Technology and Analytics teams to: Investigate anomalies in AI/Deterministic outputs or system behaviour Perform root cause analysis (data issues, model issues, integration failures) Implement corrective actions and control enhancements Ensures adherence to production support processes, including incident logging, remediation, and audit documentation Qualifications: Typically 7+ years of relevant experience with post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience, with demonstrated delivery of AI/ML solutions in credit risk, underwriting, or decisioning environments achieving measurable business outcomes. Polyglot developer with extensive experience writing scripts in Python/Node.js/JAVA/SAS/SQL and Groovy. Comfortable with consuming Restful API's utilizing both Postman/Soap UI or bespoke clients. In-depth knowledge of risk system management concepts and applications, including integration of AI/ML models into enterprise decision platforms (e.g., adjudication engines, monitoring systems, customer lifecycle management). Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience, and industry knowledge, complemented by practical expertise in deploying AI solutions from proof-of-concept to production with full lifecycle governance (design → validation → deployment → monitoring). Core Professional Skills Verbal & written communication skills – In-depth / Expert, with ability to translate complex concepts into clear, executive-ready and regulator-ready narratives. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked.
