About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Shopify Consultant to join our dynamic team at Mage Montréal. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for guiding clients through complex technical challenges and delivering tailored Shopify solutions that meet their unique business needs. Your expertise will help elevate our clients' online stores, ensuring optimal performance, usability, and scalability. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Shopify's ecosystem, including theme customization, app integrations, and API utilization. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with talented professionals, and contribute to the growth of innovative e-commerce solutions on a global scale.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Shopify development and consulting. Proficiency in Liquid templating language, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify APIs. Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, UX/UI principles, and responsive design. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills with a consultative approach to client interactions. Experience working with cross-functional teams, including designers and developers. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is considered an advantage.
Responsibilities
Provide expert guidance on Shopify architecture, including store setup, theme customization, and third-party app integrations. Conduct comprehensive consultations to understand client requirements and craft tailored solutions. Lead end-to-end project management, from initial planning and design to deployment and testing. Customize Shopify themes to enhance user experience and align with brand identity. Implement UX improvements and optimize site performance for better conversion rates. Collaborate closely with front-end and back-end teams to ensure seamless functionality and integration. Stay updated on the latest Shopify trends, technological advancements, and industry best practices. Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the organization.
