NTT DATA's Client is currently seeking a professional to join their team in Halifax, Nova Scotia (CA-NS), Canada (CA). REMOTE Day to Day Job Duties Architect, design, and support enterprise applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Web APIs, and SQL Server. Lead performance optimization initiatives across application, database, and web server layers. Analyze and tune SQL Server databases, including query optimization, indexing strategies, execution plan analysis, and performance troubleshooting. Configure, monitor, and optimize IIS web servers, application pools, caching, and deployment environments. Implement proactive monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions for applications, databases, and infrastructure. Perform root cause analysis and resolve production issues related to application performance, database bottlenecks, and server stability. Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to design scalable and highly available solutions. Establish architecture standards, best practices, and governance for development and operational teams. Mentor developers and DBAs on application architecture, performance tuning, and troubleshooting techniques. Support cloud and DevOps initiatives, including CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and operational automation. Basic Qualifications Minimum 10 years of experience in software development and solution architecture using Microsoft technologies. Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs, and related technologies. Minimum 7 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration, database design, and performance tuning. Minimum 5 years of experience in SQL query optimization, indexing, execution plan analysis, and database troubleshooting. Minimum 5 years of experience administering and optimizing IIS web servers in enterprise environments. Minimum 3 years of experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions such as Application Insights, Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, ELK, or similar tools. Experience with high-availability, disaster recovery, and production support environments. Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, source control, and release management processes. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills. Travel: This position requires someone who can travel at least 80%. Preferred location is East coast or Midwest. Degree: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience Nice to Have Experience with Azure cloud services and cloud-native architectures. Experience with microservices and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes). Experience with SQL Server Always On, Replication, and Clustering. Performance testing experience using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner. Technical leadership, solution architecture, or project lead experience. Microsoft Azure or SQL Server certifications. NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for Canada-based positions. The starting pay range for this remote role is $70/Hr - $80/Hr. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all Canada locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
