Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications. Build and support Capital Markets platforms. Develop REST APIs and Microservices. Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams. Perform code reviews and production support. Drive performance optimization and system enhancements. Participate in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Required Skills 8+ years of Java development experience. Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, and Microservices. Experience with REST APIs, Multithreading, and Object-Oriented Programming concepts. Strong SQL expertise (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL). Experience with Kafka, JMS, or MQ messaging technologies. Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience in Prime Brokerage, Repo, Securities Lending, or Capital Markets. Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP. Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments. Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale applications within financial services environments.
