Key Responsibilities
Technical Support
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, Phones, Faxes and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, and application issues.
- Respond to helpdesk tickets, phone calls, emails, and walk-up requests in a timely manner.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and standard business applications.
- Support Microsoft 365 environment including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
Healthcare Systems Support
- Support healthcare applications such as EMR/EHR systems (e.g., OSCAR, Accuro, etc.).
- Assist clinical staff with login/access issues, workflow troubleshooting, and application support.
- Support integration and connectivity of medical devices and healthcare workstations.
- Ensure uptime and reliability of systems used in patient care environments.
User Administration & Security
- Manage user accounts, password resets, MFA, and access permissions through Active Directory/Azure AD.
- Maintain endpoint security and ensure compliance with healthcare privacy regulations (HIPAA/PHIPA/PIPEDA as applicable).
- Follow IT security protocols and escalate cybersecurity incidents when required.
- Assist with device inventory management and asset tracking.
Documentation & Process Improvement
- Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Create and maintain IT support documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Assist in onboarding/offboarding employees including hardware setup and account provisioning.
- Participate in system upgrades, deployments, and IT projects.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of IT Helpdesk or Desktop Support experience.
- Experience supporting users in a healthcare or clinical environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare applications and workflows.
- Strong understanding of:

- Networking fundamentals
- VPN and remote support tools
- Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, or Freshservice.
- Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize issues in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
