About the role

Join Our Team as a PLM Data & Systems Coordinator!

Valiant TMS, a global industry leader, is seeking a PLM Data & Systems Coordinator to join our IT team. This is a development-focused role designed for someone who is motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow into a Teamcenter Administration career path.

Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Program Management, and IT teams, you will support day-to-day PLM operations while being progressively trained on the Valiant TMS internal workflows, systems, and best practices. Over time, you will take ownership of Teamcenter processes and expand into broader system administration responsibilities.

This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career professional who thrives in a structured, data-driven environment and wants to build long-term expertise in PLM systems within a fast-paced organization.

What you’ll get to do

  • Process and manage data releases from Teamcenter to internal manufacturing systems, following established workflows
  • Respond to and resolve user support requests for Teamcenter and related engineering applications
  • Maintain data integrity, folder structures, and naming conventions within the Teamcenter environment
  • Develop reports and data extracts to support engineering and program management teams
  • Support user onboarding, access provisioning, and training for CAD and PLM applications
  • Document processes, troubleshooting procedures, and system workflows to build a strong internal knowledge base
  • Collaborate with Engineering, IT, Manufacturing, and Program Management teams to improve data flow between systems (PLM, ERP, and other tools)
  • Liaise with external Teamcenter support consultants and escalate issues when required
  • Coordinate with IT on software installations, licensing, and application updates
  • Participate in PLM improvement projects and cross-functional IT initiatives
  • Interact with and learn from IT team members to build broader system knowledge
  • Perform research on Teamcenter capabilities and engineering systems as needed

What we are looking for

  • Education: Post-secondary education in Engineering Technology, Computer Science, IT, or a related field — completed or near completion
  • Experience: Early career level; development role with training provided
    • Basic familiarity with Teamcenter or another PDM/PLM system — understanding its purpose and value in engineering environments
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy in a manufacturing setting
    • Effective communication skills, with the ability to work closely with engineers, build leaders, and program managers
    • Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage tasks and priorities independently
  • Assets:
    • Exposure to CAD platforms such as NX, AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar
    • Familiarity with ERP or manufacturing systems (e.g., SAP)
    • Knowledge of Teamcenter tools such as BMIDE, Rich Client, or Active Workspace
    • Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Travel to the USA will be required.

What we offer

  • Competitive health, dental, vision, employee assistance, and wellness benefits, beginning on the first day of employment.
  • Tuition reimbursement.
  • Pension, life, and disability insurance upon completion of the probationary period.
  • We believe in investing in our people. When you join our company, you become part of an organization that values your professional development and provides ample opportunities for career growth.
  • Work alongside a talented and diverse group of individuals who are dedicated to achieving excellence.

The expected annual compensation for this position is $55,000-$70,000. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skillset, or location.
