This role sits at the core of a high-performance crypto engineering team responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers secure blockchain transactions at scale. You will work on systems that integrate directly with multiple Layer-1 blockchains, enabling deposits, withdrawals, staking, and other critical crypto operations. The environment is highly technical, fast-moving, and security-critical, where protecting client funds and ensuring system reliability are top priorities. You will design and build low-latency, high-availability backend services that handle large transaction volumes across distributed systems. The role demands strong backend engineering depth combined with an understanding of blockchain primitives and cryptographic principles. Accountabilities: In this role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing backend systems that interact directly with blockchain networks while ensuring security, scalability, and reliability. You will: Design, develop, and integrate backend systems with multiple Layer-1 blockchains to support crypto operations such as deposits, withdrawals, and staking Build low-latency, high-availability, and highly secure distributed systems for processing high-volume financial transactions Develop scalable backend services with a strong focus on performance, resilience, and fault tolerance Write clean, reusable, testable, and efficient code following engineering best practices Design and optimize database schemas to support high-throughput transactional workloads Own, maintain, and improve existing crypto services in production environments Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integrity, security, and operational excellence Requirements: This role requires strong backend engineering expertise combined with a solid understanding of blockchain systems and cryptographic principles.
