This role sits at the core of securing large-scale cloud, product, and AI infrastructure in a fast-paced, highly distributed engineering environment. You will be responsible for identifying systemic security risks across platforms and designing scalable remediation strategies that improve engineering-wide resilience. The position blends hands-on security engineering, deep technical analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with product and infrastructure teams. You will help shape secure-by-design practices, enabling engineering teams to ship safely and efficiently at scale. Beyond detection and mitigation, you will build tooling and frameworks that reduce entire classes of vulnerabilities. This is a high-impact role where your work directly strengthens the security posture of complex, modern systems used at massive scale.
Accountabilities
Identify, assess, and prioritize business-critical security risks across cloud infrastructure, product surfaces, and AI systems. Design and implement remediation strategies with clear, actionable roadmaps to reduce systemic vulnerabilities. Develop scalable internal security tooling and frameworks that promote secure engineering practices. Conduct deep code reviews, architecture reviews, and threat modeling across distributed systems. Drive organization-wide security improvements through collaboration with engineering and product teams. Establish and evolve secure engineering patterns, policies, and best practices. Mentor engineers and contribute to building a strong security-first engineering culture.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Application Security, or Offensive Security roles. 3+ years of experience conducting code reviews and security-focused design reviews. Strong programming ability in at least one production language (Python, Go, or TypeScript). Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent. Strong understanding of common security vulnerabilities, threat modeling, and mitigation strategies. Experience working with SaaS architectures, distributed systems, and cloud environments. Familiarity with variant analysis, root cause analysis, or secure development frameworks. Preferred: experience with policy-as-code (OPA/Rego, Sentinel), CSPM tools (e.g., Wiz, Prisma), or security research contributions.
