<b>Job Description</b><br><span id="spandesc"><p style="margin-top:0px">Responsibilities:<br/></p><ul><li><span>Responsibilities for the Senior System Testing / QA Specialist include, but are not limited to:<br/></span></li><li><span>Plan and organize testing efforts in User Interface (UI) and API testing, including the design, development and execution of systems integration tests, functional tests through end-to-end UI Automation and API automation using in-house automation framework based on Java, Selenium<br/></span></li><li><span>Analyze, understand the business (functional) and technical requirements, user stories, design documents, implementation guides, data mapping documents to develop test plan, test scripts, test cases and execute these against the various components in a fully automated fashion across different non-production environments for ?Provincial Viewer Program? and also for other electronic health care systems, registries and repositories.<br/></span></li><li><span>Analyze, plan, design, build, implement, run and maintain automation testing framework, automated test cases & automation scripts for UI web pages and APIs<br/></span></li><li><span>Mapping Traceability matrix covering all requirements in the project?s scope<br/></span></li><li><span>Use automated tool sets to generate and validate complex test data<br/></span></li><li><span>Log, track and manage defects in JIRA<br/></span></li><li><span>Create the test execution report.<br/></span></li><li><span>Work with the QA lead and other project stakeholders such as PM, IT lead, BA in the analysis, design, development, implementation and ongoing support of the required systems from testing perspective<br/></span></li><li><span>Good team player and ability to engage with different programs in the organization and champion best practices of automation. <br/></span></li><li><span>Determine the test environment requirements and run smoke/sanity tests to validate successful deployments and environment stability<br/></span></li><li><span>Provide key inputs to the QA Lead in testing effort estimation and in the design and develop of test strategy, test plan and test execution report<br/></span></li><li><span>Support user acceptance testing and participate in UAT activities<br/></span></li><li><span>Technical knowledge and experience to collaborate with Development, Architecture and Infrastructure teams <br/></span></li><li><span>Comfortable testing in Agile-Scrum methodology and following DevOps/CICD principles <br/></span></li><li><span>Support other QA resources in the team to support the program<br/></span></li></ul><p style="margin-top:0px">Desired Skills:<br/></p><ul><li><span><span>Experience planning and organizing testing efforts for both large and small systems</span></span><br/></li><li><span><span>Experience with GitHub</span></span><br/></li><li><span><span>Experience supporting user acceptance testing and participating in UAT activities</span></span><br/></li><li><span><span></span><span>Experience in healthcare systems and testing HL7 FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) messages and data structures is preferred but not mandatory<br/></span></span></li></ul><p style="margin-top:0px">Must Haves:<br/></p><ul><li><span>Minimum 7 years of experience in automation testing<br/></span></li><li><span>Advanced level and extensive hands-on experience with automating UI screens using JAVA and Selenium. Should be able to write UI automation scripts from scratch independently and ability to analysis and debug complex test automation codes for UI screens.<br/></span></li><li><span>Advanced API automation (Restful API) / web services testing using tools such as SOAPUI , Ready API, Postman or their equivalent<br/></span></li><li><span>Experience working with ETL, SQL and cross browser testing.
