Oracle Application SaaS & PaaS Architect – Full-Time – Downtown Toronto, ON (Hybrid) – Salary ($105,000-$135,000 CAD)

Our client is seeking an Oracle Application SaaS & PaaS Architect in Downtown Toronto, ON. This is a full-time hybrid opportunity focused on enterprise Oracle application architecture, integration strategy, and solution oversight.
Role Description This position is for an Oracle Application SaaS & PaaS Architect responsible for overseeing the enterprise Oracle application landscape across SaaS and PaaS environments. The ideal candidate will provide architectural guidance, assess new application solutions, and ensure alignment with the organization’s Oracle Fusion ecosystem.
The role requires strong experience with Oracle Fusion SaaS, Oracle PaaS, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and enterprise application integrations. This is an architecture and advisory-focused position with no hands-on development responsibilities.
The candidate will evaluate business-driven technology requests, assess solution fit within the existing landscape, provide architectural recommendations, and create high-level design documentation to support enterprise decision-making.
Responsibilities include: • Oversee the Oracle application landscape across Oracle Fusion SaaS and Oracle PaaS environments • Evaluate and advise on new applications, tools, and integrations requested by business teams • Assess how new solutions align with Oracle Fusion as the central enterprise application platform • Design and review application architecture, integration patterns, and solution approaches • Create architecture diagrams, high-level design documents, and technical documentation • Assess integration security considerations, network exposure, and technology risks • Provide architectural guidance and recommendations to business and technology stakeholders • Collaborate with application, security, infrastructure, and integration teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards • Support technology assessments and advise on strategic application decisions
Minimum Qualifications • 7+ years of experience in enterprise application architecture or solution architecture roles • Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion SaaS landscape and enterprise Oracle applications • Experience with Oracle Platform as a Service (PaaS) and custom application solutions • Understanding of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integrations and customization capabilities • Experience integrating multiple applications into a centralized enterprise ecosystem • Strong ability to create architecture diagrams, solution designs, and high-level technical documentation • Experience assessing application fit, integration impacts, and technology alignment within complex environments • Knowledge of security, risk, and network considerations related to enterprise integrations • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical decisions to business and technical stakeholders
Desirable Qualifications • Experience advising business teams on application selection and technology strategy • Experience working within large enterprise Oracle environments with multiple integrations • Background in financial services, investment management, or fund administration environments • Experience supporting enterprise architecture governance and standards
