- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3–5 years of experience developing enterprise-grade software using Microsoft .NET 6 or 8 with C#.
- 3–5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server technologies and REST APIs/web services.
- 1–2 years of experience working with Azure services; familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and Angular is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented and service-oriented application development techniques, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum, and working in fast-paced environments managing multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with source control systems (e.g., Git) and understanding of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Strong communication skills (oral, written, and interpersonal) and proven success collaborating within large, multi-disciplinary teams.
As a Developer, you will:
- Contribute to the Digital Engineering Team in daily maintenance, enhancement, and development of applications.
- Design, write, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code for optimal performance and scalability.
- Develop and support .NET, MS SQL Server, and Azure-based cloud solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues.
- Ensure adherence to internal technical standards, quality benchmarks, and security policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and assist in designing scalable, secure application features.
- Research and recommend tools, frameworks, and technologies to enhance development efficiency.
- Support deployment processes and post-release monitoring to ensure smooth operation.
Compensation: The expected base salary compensation for this role is $81,000.30 to $113,197.42 CAD annually. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI): Bond uses AI tools during parts of the screening, assessment, and selection process, supporting a fair and efficient hiring process.
