About the role

We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, Oracle ERP Product Management to join our team.

The Senior Manager, Oracle ERP Product Management provides strategic and hands on leadership as a technical product manager for the Oracle ERP, Financial Services applications (OFSAA) and related systems across the IT organization. Establishes and governs configuration standards, patterns, and operational practices to drive consistency, quality, and security across teams and domains. Leads the technical product roadmap for Oracle ERP, aligning platform evolution to business strategy, regulatory expectations, and operational reliability. Partners with Finance, HR, Treasury, Risk, Technology, Security, Compliance, and Business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions and to ensure optimal operationalization of systems in production.

Here’s what would be included as a part of your typical day

  • Leadership: Provides operational leadership to Oracle technology operations and support functions. Optimizes service delivery in alignment with IT strategies and business plans through the adoption of Devops practices, AI driven operations solutions, streamlined processes and well-defined service level agreements. Leads, coaches, engages and mentors team, including supporting professional development and overseeing performance management activities.

  • ERP Configuration and Operational Standards: Define and maintain the configuration standards (configuration, scripting, testing, quality gates, documentation). Ensure teams across IT adopt consistent, high ‑ quality SDLC processes, operations practices and metrics, including key partners where development is outsourced.

  • Oracle ERP and OSFAA Technical Product Management: Own the technical product roadmap for Oracle ERP, requirements intake, prioritization, platform evolution, vendor/partner joint planning and roadmap ownership, and technical debt management. Lead solution options analyses and business cases; guide major upgrades, integrations, and sustainment initiatives. This role will act as a member of the Enterprise Architecture group when required.

  • Research, Evaluation & Implementation: Lead assessment of engineering tools, frameworks, and ERP technologies. Evaluate build vs buy, performance, security, and operational impacts; recommend adoption, mitigation, or deprecation. Oversee pilot implementations of new capabilities up to, and including, full scale rollouts. Oversee effective use of Generative AI tools for Oracle operations.

  • Delivery Leadership & Portfolio Execution: Manage a prioritized portfolio of platform and module upgrades and application enhancements, ensuring delivery consistently reflects and reinforces best practices for high-quality, efficient execution. Provide escalation leadership and ensure timely reporting on achievements, risks, and issues.

  • Team Support & Collaboration: Provide leadership for Oracle technology team. Work closely with Finance, HR, Treasury, Risk, Technology, Security, Compliance, and Business stakeholders to operationalize the Oracle system. Partner with business stakeholders and product owners to ensure solutions meet desired outcomes and are supportable, observable, and auditable in production. Champions a culture of engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and measurable outcomes across teams.

  • Risk, Security & Compliance : Maintain compliance with audit and risk management requirements and best practices. Ensure development standards embed identity, privacy, security, quality, and change controls. Stay familiar with relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g., OSFI, CDIC) affecting the Oracle system and related business function.

  • Relationship Building & Communication : Build strong relationships with IT and business leaders along with key partners and suppliers; facilitate decision-making and remove impediments. Communicate direction, standards, and technical decisions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Hands on work : Contribute hands-on to day-to-day solutioning activities across all bodies of work, including the creation of prototypes, proofs-of-concept (POCs), and technical design components or documents, testing and roll out. Develop and maintain the ERP design, as-built and run documentation, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with enterprise standards.

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or in a relevant field required.

  • 8+ years in ERP engineering and/or product management roles with significant experience in ERP (preferably Oracle) and financial services.

  • Demonstrated success establishing ERP standards practices and leading adoption across multiple teams.

  • Proven track record managing ERP roadmaps, complex integrations, and vendor platform in a complex operating environment.

  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills to provide advice, direction and guidance to business leaders, and to collaborate with others on problem-solving.

  • Advanced analytical, problem ‑ solving, and decision ‑ making skills to surface, evaluate, and apply best practices in ERP capabilities, ensuring effective investigation, modernization, and continuous improvement across complex technical environments.

  • Strong ability to influence platform development and delivery teams to adopt, apply, and continuously improve upon established engineering best practices, while also providing oversight and review to ensure consistent adherence across all domains

  • Strong leadership to work effectively with external partners, in particular Oracle, and also technology partners, and industry system groups, acting as an influential voice and technical leader to advocate for organizational needs, shape product direction, and drive successful collaboration and outcomes.

  • Expert knowledge of the concepts, theories, practices and techniques of the information technology field, with emphasis on ERP and technology, and related product management.

  • Expertise in ERP configuration, testing strategies, and ERP Management and Operations.

  • Advanced knowledge of the relevant regulatory requirements and other governing practices and principles.

  • Proficiency with ERP integration patterns (including APIs).

  • Familiarity with ERP engineering toolchains (config management, deployment, observability) and quality metrics.

  • Strong business acumen to align platform evolution with strategic objectives.

  • Familiarity with gen AI tools and their application across technology contexts.

  • Displays an understanding of risk and risk ownership by being able to demonstrate adherence to policies and procedures.
