The expected base salary range for this position is $85/Hr - $90/Hr, depending on experience, skills, and internal equity. About: Bank is seeking an experienced .NET UI (WPF) Developer to join the Global Delta One Technology team. In this role, you will work within the Equity Swaps domain, contributing to the development of a next-generation UI for the firm's Swaps platform. This is an excellent opportunity for a developer with strong desktop application development experience who enjoys building high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly applications in a fast-paced Capital Markets environment.
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality front-end applications using the .NET platform. Build and enhance desktop applications using WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation). Develop clean, scalable, and maintainable code following industry best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, QA, and release management teams. Integrate applications with messaging middleware technologies such as TIBCO EMS, JMS, or AMPS. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance. Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver high-quality solutions within project timelines.
Required Qualifications: 4+ years of professional software development experience. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong experience developing front-end applications using the .NET platform. Hands-on experience with WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation). Experience with .NET Core. Experience working with messaging middleware such as TIBCO EMS, JMS, or AMPS. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns. Ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Agile development environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Reactive Extensions (Rx.NET). Previous experience in Capital Markets, particularly within Equities or Equity Swaps. Exposure to Scala and/or Core Java. Experience with QA processes, automated testing, and release management. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to independently own features and drive them through to completion.
Nice to Have: Knowledge of Equity Swaps or Delta One products. Experience with financial services or investment banking applications. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Experience working with enterprise-scale distributed systems.
