Hiring: Senior Python Developer (AWS | REST APIs | CI/CD) Location: Toronto(Onsite) Employment Type: Contract Duration: Long-Term Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer with strong expertise in AWS, REST APIs, Cloud-Native Development, and CI/CD. The ideal candidate should have prior consulting or client-facing experience and be comfortable independently designing, developing, and delivering enterprise software solutions. Key Responsibilities Own project timelines, deliverables, and proactively manage scope, dependencies, and execution risks. Design, develop, and deliver scalable software solutions aligned with business requirements. Build and maintain high-performance backend services and RESTful APIs. Develop cloud-native applications using AWS. Implement workflow automation and data pipelines where required. Contribute throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and support. Ensure solutions are production-ready with appropriate testing, documentation, and operational handover. Collaborate with stakeholders to drive technical decisions and deliver successful project outcomes. Identify risks early and provide proactive solutions. Required Skills & Experience Strong experience in Python development within enterprise environments. Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services. Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services. Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of unit testing and integration testing. Prior consulting, advisory, or client-facing project experience. Ability to work independently and deliver solutions with minimal supervision. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills Workflow automation experience. CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions. Workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow. Frontend development experience with Dash, Angular, or React. Experience with Amazon QuickSight or other BI/reporting tools. Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. Experience with Jupyter Notebooks. Exposure to Capital Markets domain.
