About the role
Role: IBMS (Operative BMS) SME – Techno-Functional Analyst Toronto Contract Hybrid
We are looking for an experienced IBMS (Operative BMS) SME – Techno-Functional Analyst to support a leading client in the broadcast/media industry. Key Responsibilities: Provide L1/L2/L3 application support for Operative IBMS (BMS) in a helpdesk environment. Troubleshoot issues across Scheduling, Ad Sales, Traffic, and Billing modules. Handle incidents, service requests, and user queries through ticketing tools. Perform SQL-based database troubleshooting, data validation, and data fixes. Investigate data inconsistencies and integration issues. Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and ensure SLA compliance. Support user access, configurations, and minor enhancements. Collaborate with Sales, Traffic, Finance, and Technical teams. Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Operative IBMS (Broadcast Management System). Knowledge of Broadcast/Media workflows (Scheduling, Ad Sales, Traffic & Billing). Strong SQL and database troubleshooting skills (Mandatory). Experience in L1/L2/L3 Application Support or Helpdesk environment. Experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar ticketing tools. Knowledge of system integrations and reporting tools. Understanding of VDI, VPN, and EUC environments is an advantage. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
