Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Consultant-level Full Stack Developer to support rapid proof-of-concept development and demo-ready features for the ElectrifiedGrid (EG) product. Reporting to the Product Owner, this role will contribute directly across the React/TypeScript frontend and Python FastAPI backend while quickly understanding the existing product, codebase, and delivery context.
This role is focused on building quick-turnaround prototypes, reusable UI components, API integrations, and demo flows by reusing existing patterns, shared components, services, and code wherever practical. The ideal candidate can move quickly without creating unnecessary duplication or long-term maintenance burden.
What will your typical day look like?
You will develop, test, and iterate on full stack PoC and demo features using React, TypeScript, Python, and FastAPI. You will work from Figma designs, product direction, and existing technical patterns to quickly produce functional demo experiences while aligning with the current EG product architecture and codebase.
You will collaborate with Product, UX/UI, engineering, QA, DevOps, and other developers to clarify requirements, understand available reusable assets, identify the fastest practical implementation path, and troubleshoot issues during development and demo preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop quick-turnaround PoC and demo-ready features across the React/TypeScript frontend and Python FastAPI backend. Understand the existing EG product, architecture, codebase, and delivery patterns before building new functionality. Reuse existing shared components, design patterns, APIs, services, and utilities wherever practical to reduce duplication and speed up delivery. Create reusable, accessible, and maintainable frontend components using React, TypeScript, and shared component libraries such as MUI. Translate Figma designs and product direction into functional user interfaces suitable for stakeholder demos. Build and integrate backend APIs and lightweight services using Python FastAPI to support prototype and demo scenarios. Work pragmatically to balance speed, quality, reusability, and maintainability for PoC and demo use cases. Use AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Codex CLI responsibly to accelerate prototyping, code exploration, refactoring, and test creation while maintaining code quality and security expectations. Participate in pull request reviews by giving and receiving constructive feedback to improve code quality. Support debugging, issue triage, and root-cause analysis for development, testing, and demo-related issues. Document key implementation details, assumptions, component usage, and API considerations to support knowledge sharing and future reuse. Work closely with Product, UX/UI, QA, DevOps, and engineering teams to prepare reliable demo experiences on short timelines.
About The Team
