Location: Toronto, 5x/month onsite Length: 12 months + very likely to extend Hours: 37.5 Rate: 60-71.50 Required Skills & Experience Minimum 7 years hands on experience in the security engineering/infrastructure engineering field Strong hands on experience with endpoint security tools such as: Tanium*, Qualys, CrowdStrike, Tenable, or rapid7 Strong experience designing endpoint architecture Strong windows and linux server admin background Scripting skills (Python, or powershell or bash) Understanding of network segmentation, firewall rules, and how endpoint tools interact with network protocols Nice to Have Skills & Experience Experience in banking or prior CIBC exposure EDR or XDR platform experience beyond platform tools (Microsoft defender, Crowdstrike falcon) Certifications Job Description Insight Global is seeking a senior security infrastructure engineer to join their security operations team in a hands on implementation capacity. This is not purely an operational monitoring role, it will require someone who is designing, deploying and configuring security endpoint tooling. You will be required to be on site at minimum 1-2 days a week.
