SewerVUE Technology specializes in advanced condition assessment for pipelines, utilizing cutting-edge sensor technologies such as CCTV, LiDAR, Sonar, and proprietary pipe penetrating radar (PPR). These tools are deployed via innovative solutions, including the SewerVUE MPIS float for high-flow environments and the 4th Generation Surveyor, a tracked robot designed for specialized inspections. By integrating sensor data into a unique 4-in-1 viewer with proprietary software, SewerVUE delivers comprehensive pipeline analyses.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Software Developer role based in Burnaby, BC. The Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions to support advanced pipeline condition assessments. This includes working with encrypted data from LiDAR, Sonar, Radar and other telemetry sensors. Familiarity with networking is a must! The developer will help optimize data analysis processes and contribute to innovation in pipeline inspection technology.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with C#, .NET, gRPC, Networking, dataflows, and hardware integration.
• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming with a focus on writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Experience in Back-End Web Development, including building and maintaining scalable systems
• Ability to use AI to expedite code creation, debugging, and algorithm deployment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug software issues effectively
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team; you understand that some problems are just communication problems.
• Familiarity with data visualization and analysis tools is a plus
• Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Experience working with hardware integration, sensors, robotics, etc.

Pay: $70,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
