As the Digital Platforms Technology Director - Shared Services, you will lead cross-functional capabilities that enable a seamless flow from development through to production across Channels Technology, including Digital and RSS platforms.

In this role, you will be accountable for establishing and continuously improving shared services and operating models that drive consistent, scalable, and efficient delivery of technology solutions. You will focus on standardizing the processes that move code from development through to production, ensuring repeatable, high-quality outcomes.

You will partner closely with stakeholders across delivery teams to drive alignment, enable the adoption of common practices, and strengthen a cohesive operating model that balances speed, quality, and resilience.

How you will create impact:

  • Establish and lead shared services across Digital and RSS technology teams, defining and applying standards and governance to enable consistent, disciplined delivery practices.

  • Define and implement repeatable processes that support the reliable progression of code from development to production, ensuring predictable and high-quality outcomes.

  • Drive alignment across stakeholder groups to enable consistent adoption of shared delivery practices, including DevOps, release, and environment management.

  • Improve delivery predictability, quality, and efficiency through the application of standardized tooling, processes, and operating models.

  • Partner with technology and business leaders to continuously evolve and scale shared capabilities supporting Digital and RSS platforms.

  • Manage relationships with technology and business partners, ensuring alignment on priorities, delivery commitments, and measurable outcomes.

  • Drive the adoption and continuous optimization of delivery processes, best practices, and life cycle standards across a diverse application portfolio, aligning execution with resource capacity and priorities.

  • Lead and develop your team by recruiting and selecting talent, managing and rewarding performance, and fostering an agile, high-performing culture that delivers on strategic objectives.

To join our team:

  • You have 7-10 years of people leadership experience in Information Technology and experience delivering web applications.

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

  • You bring strong knowledge of agile and delivery practices, with the ability to drive consistency across multiple teams and achieve high levels of employee engagement.

Expected salary/hourly range $114,021 - $164,000+

The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.

Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
