Job Summary: Our client is looking for a Test Automation Quality Engineer to support quality assurance and automation testing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience developing automated test scripts, performing API and database testing, and working within CI/CD environments.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java or Python with Robot Framework. Perform API and backend testing, including database validation using SQL. Identify, execute, and automate test scenarios to ensure adequate test coverage. Log, track, and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Analyze test results and improve automation framework performance. Maintain test documentation and automation standards.
Required Skills & Experience: 7+ years of experience in test automation. Strong experience with: Selenium and Java, or Python and Robot Framework. Solid SQL skills for database testing. Experience with REST API and backend testing. Knowledge of Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with multiple automation frameworks. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Performance testing experience. Financial services or banking domain experience. ISTQB certification.
