About the role
Enterprise Architect - Reverse Logistics Are you a forward-thinking leader who wants to shape an organization’s strategic technology vision? As an enterprise architect, you will help our product teams understand the enterprise architecture landscape and participate in their solutions by guiding and influencing teams to deliver strategic business goals. As the EA in reverse logistics, you will own architecture across retail and supply chain, including operations, orders, fulfillment, returns, warehousing, transportation, inventory, refurbishment, and analytics. We practice a remote-first working model, leveraging in-person interactions at our head office in beautiful Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes. Join our collaborative team as an enterprise architect. What you'll do: Own the domain technology roadmap — current-state assessment, target-state architecture, capability maps, and sequenced transition plans aligned to enterprise investment cycles. Lead architecture governance, including design reviews, architecture decision records (ADRs), and standards of compliance across your domain. Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to evaluate technology options, define integration patterns, and ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and long-term strategy. Define and evolve end-to-end architecture for the return's lifecycle — return initiation, routing, triage, refund orchestration, restock, refurbishment, and secondary-market disposition. Architect integrations across order management (OMS), warehouse management (WMS), transportation management (TMS), inventory, finance, and carrier ecosystems. Partner with Supply Chain, Store Operations, and Customer Care leaders to drive improvements in return cycle time, recovery value, and cost-to-serve. What we're looking for: 5+ years of enterprise architecture experience in consumer-facing retail, with exposure to domains such as store systems, omnichannel, supply chain, or reverse logistics. Proven experience owning technology roadmaps, capability maps, and architecture governance (design reviews, ADRs, standards). Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into target-state architectures, transition plans, and sequenced investment cases. Working knowledge of at least one EA framework (TOGAF, Zachman, or ArchiMate). Strong technical foundation in cloud platforms (Azure preferred), microservices, APIs, event-driven integration, and data architecture. Experience working within an agile enterprise architecture environment. Why you’ll love it here: Remote-first work environment. Employee discounts on awesome tech from day one. Flexible health benefits and wellness program. TFSA and RRSP programs. 100% matched company pension plan. Training programs to build new and transferable skills.
