The Opportunity

Reporting to the AVP, Development & Infrastructure, the Technical Administrator provides essential operational and technical administration support to the Technology team, ensuring day‑to‑day processes, controls, and foundational technical activities are executed accurately and on time.

This role is accountable for coordinating and completing routine technology administration activities, including software license management, provisioning and access changes, patching support, invoice tracking, and general business‑as‑usual (BAU) coordination. The Technical Administrator supports Infrastructure and Development team members by maintaining accurate records, tracking deliverables, and ensuring standard operational tasks are completed in alignment with governance and change management requirements.

The position supports financial and vendor administration for Technology, including tracking invoices through approval and payment, supporting budget development, and coordinating licensing‑related communications with vendors and internal partners.

This position offers a hybrid work environment, with a primary corporate office in Cambridge and access to a satellite office in Toronto.

The Role

As the successful candidate, you will:

  • Provide day‑to‑day technical and administrative support to the Technology team, ensuring activities are completed accurately and on time

  • Support the setup, maintenance, and basic administration of systems, applications, security tools, and technology platforms

  • Perform routine IT operational tasks, including user provisioning, access updates, patching support, and system monitoring

  • Assist with backups, updates, and basic troubleshooting activities, escalating more complex technical issues as required

  • Maintain software license administration, including tracking, provisioning, renewals, and vendor coordination

  • Track technology invoices and support approval and payment processes in collaboration with Finance

  • Coordinate and track Technology team activities, deliverables, meetings, documentation, and reporting

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • Technical diploma or post‑secondary education in Information Technology or a related field

  • 0 to 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience

  • Working knowledge of IT systems, applications, and operational processes; experience with provisioning, access management, or system administration is an asset

  • Ability to follow established procedures, apply standard tools, and work effectively under moderate supervision

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Power Automate skills are considered an asset

  • Technical certifications in progress or interest in pursuing certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure, networking, security) is considered an asset

Salary Range

The expected base salary range for this position is $58,000 – $70,000

The actual salary will be determined based on factors including but not limited to, market conditions, relevant experience, job related knowledge, skills, abilities, qualifications, and education.

Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs to earn additional compensation. Incentive compensation is tied to established business and individual performance targets.
