We are seeking a motivated and technically versatile IT Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will develop and maintain hardware and software systems, extend database and platform capabilities. You will work independently on project tasks while contributing to continuous improvement of our IT infrastructure.
Key responsibilities: • Develop new hardware components and software applications such as MS Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI). • Care, administer and maintenance of existing components. • Extending database systems with new functions such as SharePoint and MS SQL. • Respond to and resolve IT support requests through the ticketing system within defined service levels, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution. (1st and 2nd level support). • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently and professionally together with the IT Department from the Headquarter. • Respond to and resolve IT support requests through the ticketing system within defined service levels, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution. • Work independently on project-related tasks. • Coordinate and deliver basic user support and training for Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., Teams, Outlook, Power BI), including scheduling sessions as needed, and assist in communicating and reinforcing IT policies and best practices across the organization. • Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to systems, processes, or user training to enhance efficiency and user experience. • Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for IT procedures, user guides, and troubleshooting steps. • Manage and maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets, including hardware, software, and peripherals, ensuring records are kept up to date in the asset management system. • Track and document the lifecycle of IT assets from procurement through decommissioning, including assignments, transfers, and disposals.
Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or similar field. • At least 5 years of experience as an IT specialist. • Familiarity with ticketing platforms • Customer-focused approach with a high level of professionalism and patience • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities • A solid understanding of process requirements and related documentation to be able to do requirements engineering • Effective time management and prioritization skills • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Proficiency with VPN networks, firewalls, encryption, and other aspects of network security technologies. • Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
