Role description Software Development Engineer in Test SDET responsible for designing developing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks using Playwright Python for Web UI and API testing ensuring highquality releases through continuous testing and DevOps integration
Key Responsibilities
Test Automation Development
Design and develop automation frameworks using Playwright PyTest
Build reusable Page Object Models POM utilities and shared libraries
Create automation scripts for
oWeb UI flows crossbrowser
oREST API validations requestresponse schema validation
Implement datadriven and BDDbased test automation
Test Strategy Execution
Participate in test planning estimation and design
Automate
oFunctional regression smoke sanity tests
oIntegration and endtoend scenarios
Perform crossbrowser and parallel execution testing
API Service Testing
Design and automate REST API test suites using
oPlaywright Python
Validate
oResponse payloads JSONXML
oHTTP status codes contracts and schema
Integrate API tests within endtoend workflows
CICD DevOps Integration
Integrate automation suites with CICD tools
oJenkins Azure DevOps GitLab
Enable
oContinuous testing pipelines
oAutomated execution on PR builds
Manage test artifacts

Quality Engineering Best Practices
