What would I be doing? At Greenbridge Foodservice, you will do more than simply build dashboards. You will be the mastermind behind our unified data infrastructure and technology ecosystem, with a primary immediate focus on building a robust data infrastructure within Microsoft Fabric to facilitate enterprise-wide Power BI reporting. Your key areas of impact will include: Core Data Architecture: Review existing design, and propose revisions to build, and optimize our data Lakehouse architecture within Microsoft Fabric to serve as the unified backend for corporate analytics. Pipeline & Integration Engineering: Design and implement robust pipelines to collect, clean, and integrate high-volume data from various disparate sources, including distributor, member sales and purchases, vendor programs, and third-party platforms. Business Intelligence Delivery: Develop and manage centralized, optimized datasets and models within Fabric to ensure seamless, high-performance Power BI dashboard delivery. Data Governance: Establish and govern standardized data definitions, master data management tables, and business rules to eliminate data silos across departments. IT & Vendor Ownership: Manage our outsourced IT service provider relationships and work closely with the IT departments of our member organizations to establish reliable data connections. You will ensure data security, system uptime, and serve as the primary internal liaison for day-to-day IT problem-solving. Asset & Risk Management: Develop and audit operational data security policies, identity management protocols, and disaster recovery plans. Oversee the corporate hardware replacement lifecycle, software procurement, and technology asset tracking. Team Leadership: Actively coach and mentor direct reports (including our Data Analytics Manager) to support their professional development, expand their skillsets, and progressively increase their operational scope. Strategic Communication: Translate complex backend data infrastructure concepts into practical, clear business terms for non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.

Why work for us? Have a massive opportunity to be highly creative and apply your expertise to architecting an enterprise ecosystem from the ground up. Work with REALLY great people! Be part of a unique and growing Canadian business. Have an opportunity to showcase, grow, and stretch your advanced technology skills. Be part of an innovative organization that is dedicated to creating an amazing employee experience.

What are we looking for in our ideal candidate? Education: Post-secondary education in a relevant field or demonstrated deep competence with Fabric, Power BI, and data modeling. Experience: 2–5 years of progressive experience in a relevant field (e.g. business intelligence architecture, IT systems management). Prior experience successfully managing direct reports and technical vendors is highly preferred. Technical Mastery: Deep, hands-on experience building data infrastructure within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem (Pipelines, Dataflows, Lakehouses, Sensitive Models). BI Expertise: Total mastery of Power BI architecture, featuring advanced DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling best practices. Strong SQL skills for building data pipelines and complex transformations are preferred. Infrastructure Acumen: Proven experience managing corporate IT environments, cloud administration (Azure/M365), and managed service provider relationships.

What Would Make You a Great Fit? Alignment with Greenbridge Foodservice culture is important to our success. We would love to hear from you if: You are task-driven but like to have some fun along the way. You are an active listener who loves to collaborate with cross-functional teams to align backend capabilities with frontend needs. You use strong professional judgment to proactively validate pipelines for accuracy before reporting outputs are ever produced. You take initiative, love jumping in to solve routine day-to-day troubleshooting challenges, and just “know” what needs to get done. You have exceptional structural thinking with the ability to look at the "big picture" while retaining a sharp attention to detail. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
