ed About the Opportun ityWe are seeking an experienced Contract Wells Analyst to support regulatory compliance, well licensing, reporting, and information management activities throughout the entire well lifecycle. This role requires a highly detail-oriented professional who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with shifting priorities and tight regulatory timelin es.Candidates with strong experience in Alberta and Saskatchewan well reporting and downhole reporting are strongly preferr ed.Key Responsibilit iesWell Licens ingGather requirements and coordinate internal approvals for well licensing activiti es.Prepare and submit well license applications and amendments to regulatory authoriti es.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and project timelin es.Drilling & Completions Report ingSubmit drilling and completion data, includi ng:Frac informat ionWell l ogsRequired regulatory fili ngsAccurately record well lifecycle activities and changes in Generwe ll.Support corporate reporting requirements, including well tax, insurance, and net/gross well coun ts.Information Managem entMaintain and update well files throughout the well lifecyc le.Ensure data accuracy and completeness across syste ms.Abandonment & Reclamat ionSubmit abandonment reporting (downhole and surface) to regulato rs.Record abandonment activities in Generwe ll.Process reclamation certificates and update well status recor ds.Support end-of-life well file management activiti es.Well Status Managem entProcess and track well status changes, includi ng:Start- upsSuspensi onsOther regulatory status upda tesWell Testing & Partner Communicati onsReceive, file, and submit required well test informati on.Track contractual obligations related to well da ta.Coordinate the exchange of downhole information with partne rs.Required Qualificati onsCertification in Petroleum Land, Well Technician, or related technical discipli ne.7–10 years of relevant industry experien ce.Experience in one or more of the followi ng:Well report ingWell technician functi onsDrilling & Completions supp ortRegulatory report ingStrong understanding of downhole information and regulatory submission requiremen ts.Ability to manage multiple deadlines across various well lifecycle stag es.Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skil ls.Strong communication and stakeholder management abiliti es.Preferred Qualificati onsExperience working with wells in Alberta and Saskatchew an.Knowledge of provincial regulatory requirements and well licensing process es.Experience with Generwell and related well information syste ms.Exposure to wells across multiple Western Canadian jurisdictio ns.Regulatory compliance and licensing experti se.Ideal Candid ateYou are a proactive, highly organized professional who excels in managing complex regulatory processes. You can prioritize competing deadlines, communicate requirements clearly to stakeholders, and ensure accurate reporting throughout the well lifecycle.
