Position Name – Principal System Architect – PegaType of hiring – Fulltime/SubconLocation – Toronto, ON (2-3 days a week)NOTE: Candidates with Job Description:Looking to hire a Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA – Intermediate) with strong hands on experience in migration and upgrade projects.We are looking for an experienced Pega CLSA who will play a key leadership role in designing, upgrading, and modernizing Pega applications. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in Pega platform upgrades, cloud/on prem migrations, and architectural decision making, while mentoring development teams and ensuring adherence to Pega best practices.Roles Responsibilities:Lead and architect Pega application migration and upgrade projects (on prem to cloud, version upgrades, infrastructure modernization).Assess existing Pega applications and design upgrade/migration strategies with minimal downtime and risk.Define application architecture, integration patterns, data migration approaches, and performance optimization strategies.Ensure compliance with Pega Guardrails, best practices, and enterprise architectural standards.Collaborate with business stakeholders, infrastructure, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver complex upgrades successfully.Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to Pega development teams.Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to upgrades, performance, security, and integrations.Support deployment activities and post upgrade stabilization.Qualifications Skills:Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) – Mandatory7+ Years of overall IT experience with strong hands on Pega experienceProven experience in Pega version upgrades and migration projectsStrong knowledge of: Pega Platform architectureCase Management, Data, UI, and Integration componentsPega Deployment Manager / DevOpsPerformance tuning and production supportExperience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a strong plusExcellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
