About the role
- Reporting to the Manager, Revenue Strategy and Operations, this position is responsible for supporting a variety of sales and services related programs, initiatives, and analytics in North America
- Candidates for this role must have experience manipulating large sets of data to discover trends and make recommendations
- The role will work cross-functionally with multiple departments including executive leadership, sales, marketing, operations, finance, engineering, and data analytics to support the design, implementation and continued optimization of multiple business needs
- This includes delivering data-driven insights to internal partners to inform short and long term strategy and action plans
- The ideal candidate will be able to recognize and understand the relationship between clean data, clear & efficient processes, and reporting
- The Sr. Analyst level position is expected to have an excellent understanding of the OpenTable Sales and Services and Marketing organization, the ability to learn quickly, and to be able to work in ambiguity
- You’ll be able to navigate the roles, reporting, and reality of the business in the field
- This position needs to have excellent communication, project management and data analysis skills and be comfortable building recommendations and owning stakeholder relationships
- Sophisticated analytics to support global Sales, Services, and Marketing decisions, including recurring monitoring of key performance metrics and the health of specific business segments
- Prepare and present analyses and narratives for audiences ranging from field sales to senior leadership
- Translate data sets into impactful insights, recommendations, dashboards, and reports for the larger sales, marketing and operations teams
- Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with various sales leaders, partnering with them to drive key initiatives and measurable results across diverse business segments
- Manage flow of inbound requests from the Global Restaurant Sales and Services (RSS) team for various ad hoc analyses, reporting needs, process and system enhancement requests
- Partner with Salesforce and BI teams to implement process and data optimizations
- Build and maintain financial models, forecasts and dashboards for various business scenarios
- Salesforce.com (SFDC) data stewardship and improvement; dashboard and report creation and upkeep; end user support and documentation management

- Experience with LTV/CAC, commission/incentives, and sales territory management a plus
- Experience with Google Platforms (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Search) a plus
- Strong preference for experience with marketplace dynamics and pricing analysis (e.g., pricing, discounting, yield analysis)
- Proactive, advanced user of AI and automation tools (e.g., generative AI, code copilots, workflow automation) to accelerate analysis, improve quality, and operationalize repeatable workflows
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders
- Experience with Google Platforms: Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Search a plus
- Operational experience in measuring and improving efficiency, utilization, scale initiatives, etc
- Understanding of sales process within OpenTable, or equivalent sales process experience
- Experience with Snowflake or any other relational database
- Excellent analytical, reporting, problem-solving, negotiation, and project coordination skills
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (e.g., pivot tables, V/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH) required
- Advanced proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Preset, PowerBI, Tableau) to build self-serve dashboards
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including detailing business processes and requirements
- Strong data quality and debugging mindset; ability to reconcile results and resolve issues with BI/Engineering
- 3-5+ years of experience in analytics and at least 2 years of experience leading Analytics efforts with an organization
- Strong SQL skills + Experience with design and development of ETL processes
- Quick-thinking, self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
