Senior Java Developer – Capital Markets / Debt Capital Markets (DCM) Location:- Toronto ON Experience: 10–15 Years

Required Skills: 10–12 years of hands-on Core Java development experience. 5–10 years of experience with Spring Framework/Spring Boot. Strong expertise in multi-threading, low-latency application development, and high-performance systems. Solid understanding of Data Structures, OOP, System Design, Microservices, and REST APIs. Strong experience with SQL/Relational Databases, Caching Solutions, and MemSQL/SingleStore. Experience with real-time messaging technologies such as Solace or JMS. Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Linux, and Shell Scripting. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced global environment. Preferred Skills: Experience in Capital Markets, preferably Debt Capital Markets (DCM). Understanding of financial products and operations. Exposure to GenAI tools and technologies is a plus. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and support scalable, low-latency Java-based applications. Build and enhance cloud-native microservices and RESTful APIs. Collaborate with global business and technology teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Drive technical excellence through code reviews, system design, and best engineering practices.
