This role is designed for an engineer who has built and shipped production software, understands system behavior from the code up, and applies software engineering principles to solve reliability and operational challenges at scale.You will act as a developer partnering closely with SRE teams to design, build, and operate highly reliable, scalable, and resilient cloud based systems. In addition to hands on delivery, you will help shape SRE standards, influence architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and contribute to the SRE Community of Practice.What You Will Do:Develops scalable and accessible business cloud applications. Focuses on the technical design, development, enhancement, testing, debugging and maintenance of Cloud applications and supports the design of business processes in the cloud. Applies expertise and in-depth understanding of managed services environments, next-generation databases and developer tools. Migrates existing applications to the cloud, and modifies existing applications for the cloud, or builds new cloud-native applications. Creates and maintains various applications using different types of programming languages.Integrates data sources and identifies the kinds of problems that can arise due to incompatibility or security concerns. Designs, configures and implements the cloud-native software that solves actual business problems using cloud technology .Maintains applications and infrastructure for cloud-based platforms .Develops workflows and processes following best practices and the cloud architecture .Understands specific cloud resources, services, architectures and service-level agreements in order to create scalable and extensive software products.
