Role description

A Network Engineer is responsible for the setup configuration running network deployments and buildouts This includes but not limited to hands on work in a datacenter lab environment buildouts deployments configuring network elements to pass traffic through the test setup configuring a traffic generator troubleshooting issues with the baseline test setup gathering test data analyzing the test data for root causes and building test reports working with stakeholders and DCS teams

MUST CCNP level networking Python Good to have Powershell basics required

Skills Routing protocols such as BGP Link State Algorithm VXLAN EBGP MPLS RSVP with Traffic Engineering knowledge as well as practical experience including troubleshooting and good to have design experience

Python Scripting Level Basic coding experience

• 1 years of software design and development experience using Python and YAML

• 2 years experience in network buildout deployments

• 2 years experience with Datacenter Switches and Routers Arista Cisco Juniper

• Experience with one or more Network element OS EOS NXOS IOS JUNOS SONiC

• Experience with Layer 2 Protocols VLAN Bridges Ethernet

• Good knowledge in Python or PowerShell scripting

• Previous MS experience is PLUS

• Good change management network troubleshooting skills

• Firewall management

Compensation range: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
