About the role
Summary:
Join our marketing team to help drive agriculture technologies solutions and farming community engagement across the GVA.
This role focuses on building strong relationships with farmers and agricultural partners while introducing agriculture technologies, and modern farm solutions.
What You'll Do:
- Act as an ambassador at local farms, community centers and schools to promote agriculture technologies.
- Build trusted relationships with growers, agronomists, retailers, cooperatives, and agricultural service providers
- Understand customer needs and recommend technology-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency, reduce input costs, and increase yields
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and growth opportunities
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, engineering, operations) to align business strategies
- Track pipeline activity, forecasts, and performance metrics using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot)
What You'll Bring:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Urban Planning, Agriculture, or related field
- Basic understanding of farming and environmental science
- Ability to communicate complex concepts simply
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) is an asset
