INTERMEDIATE SALESFORCE ADMINISTRATOR (ON-CALL SUPPORT REQUIRED) (REMOTE - PACIFIC TIME ZONE)
Salary Range
$70,000.00 - $95,000.00. This position is eligible for additional on-call compensation
Ateko is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intermediate Salesforce Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our clients' Salesforce instances.
You will work closely with consultants, developers, and client stakeholders to ensure Salesforce effectively meets business needs. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator looking to deepen their skills in a fast-paced consulting environment.
This role requires on-call support on evenings, weekends and holidays. Regular work hours for this role are 9 AM - 5 PM PT/12 PM - 8 PM ET.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
-
Manage core Salesforce administrative functions including user account maintenance, profiles, roles, permission sets, sharing rules, and security settings.

Perform declarative configuration and customization of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and potentially other clouds/features (e.g., Experience Cloud. Communications Cloud, Revenue Cloud) including custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and assignment rules.

Build, maintain, and troubleshoot automation processes using Salesforce Flow.

Create and maintain reports and dashboards to meet client reporting requirements and provide actionable insights.

Manage data quality, perform data imports/exports using tools like Data Loader, and assist with data migration tasks.

Provide day-to-day end-user support, troubleshoot issues, and assist users with best practices to enhance their Salesforce knowledge.

Collaborate with client and internal project teams in Canada India to gather requirements for system enhancements and implement solutions.

Maintain system documentation, including configuration workbooks and process documentation.

Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, recommending improvements where appropriate.

Assist with the testing and deployment of new Salesforce functionality.

Other duties as required.
ON CALL SUPPORT
This role requires ‘on-call’ support during evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotating schedule. The team member will be provided with an Ateko phone, which must be kept with them and answered at all times throughout their on-call shift. While there is no requirement to remain at a workstation for the duration of the shift, it is expected that within 15 minutes of a P1/2 support ticket being escalated to the provided phone, the team member will be at their workstation, available and able to support.
WHAT YOU BRING
Required:
-
Hold an active Salesforce Certified Administrator credential.

3 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator, managing and configuring Salesforce environments.

Solid experience with core features and configuration of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.

Experience with Revenue Cloud or Industries Cloud is required.

Proficiency in declarative automation tools, primarily Salesforce Flow.

Strong understanding of the Salesforce security model, including profiles, roles, permission sets, and sharing rules.

Experience with data management tools (e.g., Salesforce Data Loader) and a firm grasp of data hygiene best practices.

Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively within a remote team environment.
Preferred:
-
Hold additional active certifications such as Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Service Cloud Consultant.

Experience working in a consulting environment or managing multiple Salesforce orgs is an asset.

Experience with Experience Cloud (Community Cloud) or Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) is an asset.

Experience in an on call work scenario is highly desirable.

Basic understanding of when programmatic solutions (Apex, LWC) might be needed.

Experience participating in data migration projects is a plus.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Bilingual fluency in verbal and written French and English is a strong asset.
