Position Summary
Are you interested in an opportunity to grow professionally within a positive and progressive culture? Northern Health is seeking an experienced Data Specialist to join our IMIT department.
In accordance with the established vision and values of the organization the Data Specialist (NeXT) is responsible for effective data analysis, conversion, maintenance, and security of data within cloud and on-prem environments. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, stakeholder engagement skills, communication, and a commitment to agile methodologies.
Starting salary will be approximately from $90,770 to $113,462 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field plus five (5) of related experience.

Proven experience in data analysis, software maintenance, and stakeholder engagement.

Or an equivalent combination of education, training & experience.
Skills and Abilities:

Strong understanding of cloud computing and data transformation principles.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
-
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
-
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management.

Travel may be required of this position. Transportation agreements must meet the operational requirement of Northern Health in accordance with the service assignment and may require the use of a personal vehicle.
