About the role
Title: AI Developer Location: 100% Remote (From Canada/Mexico) Duration: 12+ Months with possible extension
Role Summary We are looking for an AI Developer who can turn ideas into working prototypes fast. You will build conversational agents, automations, and AI-powered applications primarily on low-code and agent-builder platforms, dropping into code where the problem demands it. The ideal candidate is platform-fluent, has a strong bias to build, and is comfortable moving from a whiteboard concept to a demonstrable proof-of-concept in days, not weeks.
What You’ll Do • Design and build AI agents, copilots, and automated workflows using low-code platforms and agent-builder frameworks. • Rapidly prototype: take a loosely defined idea or business problem and produce a working proof-of-concept quickly, then iterate based on feedback. • Integrate agents and applications with enterprise systems, data sources, and APIs. • Apply sound engineering judgment — error handling, basic evaluation, security and access considerations — even within low-code environments. • Partner with business stakeholders to scope use cases and decide the right build approach (low-code versus custom code).
Required Qualifications • Hands-on proficiency with at least one low-code AI or automation platform, such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), or Azure AI Foundry. • Experience with at least one AI agent-builder platform such as Lyzr, Moveworks, or a comparable agentic/RAG builder platform. • Prior software development experience in any programming language (for example Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or Java) — you can read, write, and debug code when needed. • Demonstrated ability to rapidly prototype — translating an idea into a functional prototype quickly using AI-assisted development and fast iteration. • Strong, hands-on command of cloud concepts on at least one major provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP) — able to independently provision, configure, develop against, deploy, and operate cloud resources and services. Comfortable owning an application end-to-end in the cloud, not just consuming pre-built services.
