Market Development Manager
Location:
Markham, Ontario OR Stouffville, Ontario
Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 CAD (dependent on experience). With variable compensation, expected earnings range from $120,000 - $150,000 CAD OTE.

What you will achieve in this role:
• Lead market growth initiatives within an assigned geographic territory to drive customer penetration and adoption.
• Develop and execute localized go-to-market strategies focused on increasing neighborhood-level market share.
• Identify high-opportunity areas and coordinate targeted sales and marketing campaigns to maximize conversion.
• Collaborate across field sales, inside sales, and digital marketing teams to ensure aligned execution efforts.
• Utilize market data, performance reporting, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and address growth barriers.
• Build strong relationships with community stakeholders, local businesses, property managers, and other influential partners.
• Increase brand visibility through grassroots and hyper-local engagement initiatives.
• Spend significant time in-market evaluating campaign effectiveness, gathering customer insights, and supporting field execution.
• Monitor and report on key performance metrics including conversion rates, customer retention, referral activity, and territory growth.
• Implement corrective actions and optimization strategies based on performance trends and market conditions.
What you must bring to this role:
• 3+ years of experience in market development, business operations, sales strategy, or related growth-focused roles.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
• Proven ability to coordinate initiatives across multiple teams and functional areas.
• Experience executing field-based growth or customer acquisition strategies.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial acumen with an understanding of customer acquisition costs, retention metrics, and ROI-driven planning.
• Ability to identify operational challenges and implement practical, scalable solutions.
• Experience within telecommunications, utilities, infrastructure, or subscription-based industries is considered an asset.
• Post-secondary education preferred.
• Valid G-Class Driver’s Licence with a clean driving abstract required.
