Job Tittle: CIAM Delivery Lead Location: Canada Job Type: Fulltime
Job Description: Role Overview The CIAM Delivery Lead will be responsible for end-to-end delivery management, architecture alignment, and successful implementation of Customer Identity and Access Management solutions. This role bridges the gap between technical engineering teams and client business stakeholders, ensuring that secure, scalable, and frictionless customer-facing identity solutions are delivered on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery & Project Governance Lead the planning, execution, and deployment of complex CIAM initiatives using Agile/Scrum methodologies. Manage project scopes, timelines, resource allocation, and mitigation of delivery risks or technical roadblocks. Define and track delivery KPIs, ensuring high-quality releases that meet strict security and compliance standards.
- Client & Stakeholder Management Act as the primary point of contact for the client's business, security, and engineering leadership. Translate complex business requirements into clear technical user stories and actionable roadmaps. Manage client expectations regarding deliverables, feature rollouts, and post-production support parameters.
- Technical Leadership & Architecture Alignment Oversee a team of IAM/CIAM engineers, architects, and business analysts to ensure robust solution design. Provide guidance on user lifecycle management, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), privacy/consent management, and fraud prevention integrations. Ensure the CIAM solution aligns with modern web/mobile security practices and handles high-concurrency traffic seamlessly.
- Qualifications & Experience: Experience: 8+ years of total experience in IT, with a minimum of 3-5 years explicitly leading delivery for IAM/CIAM projects.
Technical & Professional Requirements Category Required Experience & Skills
CIAM Platforms Deep hands-on or delivery experience with major platforms such as Ping Identity, Okta/Auth0, ForgeRock, or Azure AD B2C. Core Protocols Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML 2.0, and SCIM. Security & Privacy Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and security frameworks relating to customer data protection. Methodologies Expert knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks, sprint planning, and managing backlogs in tools like Jira or Azure DevOps. Architecture Solid grasp of microservices architecture, API gateways, SDK integrations, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
