Location: Calgary, AB (Hybrid – 2-3 days onsite) Duration: Contract
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Backup & Recovery Administrator to manage and support enterprise backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Rubrik Backup & Recovery, strong infrastructure knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain backup environments across enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities: Administer and support enterprise backup and recovery solutions using Rubrik. Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery operations to ensure data protection and business continuity. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve backup-related issues. Support backup environments across Windows, Linux, VMware, and enterprise infrastructure. Maintain backup documentation, procedures, and operational reports. Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure reliable and secure backup services.
Required Skills & Experience: 7+ years of experience in Backup & Recovery Administration. Hands-on experience with Rubrik Backup & Recovery. Strong understanding of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery concepts. Experience supporting Windows, Linux, VMware, and enterprise infrastructure environments. Experience implementing and managing enterprise backup solutions. Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
