About the positionRole Summary The Commercial Intelligence Lead will be responsible for transforming complex healthcare, pharmaceutical, and market data into actionable commercial insights that drive strategic decision-making for clients. This role sits at the intersection of analytics, strategy, customer intelligence, and commercialization, helping pharmaceutical and life sciences organizations identify growth opportunities, optimize customer engagement, and improve business performance across the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with strategic thinking and possesses deep experience working with healthcare data assets, including claims, prescription, patient, provider, and market access data. They will collaborate closely with strategy, CX, research, and client teams to translate data into meaningful business recommendations and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities & Duties Commercial Intelligence & Analytics Analyze and synthesize large healthcare datasets to uncover actionable commercial opportunities and market insights. Develop customer, patient, and HCP intelligence frameworks that support strategic planning and commercialization efforts. Conduct market sizing, segmentation, targeting, and opportunity assessments across therapeutic areas and brands. Build dashboards, reporting frameworks, and performance measurement systems to support ongoing client decision-making. Healthcare Data & Insights Leverage healthcare data sources including: Medical and pharmacy claims data Prescription (Rx) data Patient-level longitudinal data HCP/NPI data Referral and treatment pathway data Market access and payer data Digital engagement and omnichannel data Analyze patient journeys, treatment pathways, adherence patterns, referral networks, and prescribing behaviors. Generate insights that inform brand strategy, customer engagement, field force effectiveness, and commercialization planning. Strategic Consulting Partner with strategy and client teams to translate analytics into business recommendations. Support commercial planning, launch readiness, market development, and lifecycle management initiatives. Develop evidence-based recommendations that drive patient engagement, HCP adoption, and commercial growth. Present findings and strategic implications to senior client stakeholders. Capability Development Help build and scale FSi’s commercial intelligence and analytics capabilities. Identify emerging healthcare data sources, analytical approaches, AI applications, and industry best practices. Contribute to thought leadership, frameworks, methodologies, and commercialization products. Experience & Qualifications Experience 10–12+ years of experience in pharmaceutical analytics, healthcare consulting, commercial intelligence, market analytics, or related fields. Experience working within life sciences, healthcare consulting, pharmaceutical manufacturers, data providers, or commercialization agencies. Demonstrated experience working with healthcare claims and prescription data. Technical Expertise Strong understanding of: Medical and pharmacy claims data Patient-level analytics HCP targeting and segmentation Commercial analytics and forecasting Market access analytics Omnichannel measurement Data visualization and dashboarding Experience with platforms such as: IQVIA Symphony Health Komodo Health Definitive Healthcare Veeva Tableau Power BI SQL Python or R (preferred) Success Profile The ideal candidate is: Naturally curious and insight-driven Equally comfortable with data and strategy Able to simplify complex analytics into compelling business stories Passionate about improving healthcare outcomes through data-driven decision making Collaborative, entrepreneurial, and excited to help build a next-generation healthcare strategy and commercialization consultancy

Requirements Legal authorization to work in Canada, without sponsorship. Education minimum: high school or CAEC (College or University is an asset) Clear background check: Criminal, US Exclusions Database, US Denied Persons List, and EU, UK, and UN Sanctions List.
