Reporting to the Vice President – Enterprise Platforms and Services, the Director – Enterprise Solutions is responsible for the strategic direction, delivery, evolution, and operation of the enterprise solutions under their purview, ensuring their consistency, performance, and value for the business units.

They oversee the teams responsible for the configuration, integration, and evolution of these solutions, and act as a key leader in defining and executing platform roadmaps. They also play a cross-functional influencing role to ensure alignment in how enterprise solutions are used, evolved, and positioned across the organization.

The role is mandated to lead the management, integration, and operation of enterprise solutions provided by external vendors and deployed organization-wide, including SAP and CMiC systems, the SuccessFactors HRIS, the Procore PMIS, the ServiceNow platform, and other solutions.

What you will do

• Act as the lead for enterprise solutions using a product-based approach, defining their direction, championing their vision, and driving their roadmap

• Exercise influence and cross-functional leadership with business and IT teams to promote consistent and optimal use of enterprise solutions

• Set priorities, arbitrate decisions, and guide choices related to the use, evolution, and optimization of enterprise platforms

• Play a key role in transformation initiatives by contributing to the design of solutions on enterprise platforms, assessing options, risks, and impacts, and guiding implementation decisions

• Lead implementation and ensure delivery of solutions based on structured needs, guiding platform configuration choices and ensuring effective deployment across the organization

• Be accountable for the performance, stability, security, and evolution of enterprise solutions

• Lead teams responsible for configuration, integration, and administration of solutions

• Manage relationships with vendors and technology partners, and play an active role in contract negotiation and management

• Optimize costs, service quality, and overall solution performance

This role could be for you if you have

• University degree in Information Technology or a related field

• Minimum of 10 years of experience with enterprise systems (ERP, corporate solutions)

• Multi-platform experience (e.g., Procore, ServiceNow, HRIS), including significant expertise in at least one ERP system (SAP, CMiC, or equivalent)

• Experience delivering and evolving complex solutions at the organizational level

• Experience managing teams responsible for application solution delivery

• Experience managing managers (multi-level leadership structures)

• Experience working in a matrix environment and within both operational and transformation contexts

• Ability to define and drive strategic direction for enterprise platforms

• Strong influencing leadership and ability to mobilize cross-functional teams

• Strategic mindset with a strong focus on business value

• Excellent stakeholder management skills (business and IT)

• Strong decision-making and prioritization abilities

• Good understanding of project management and construction environments (an asset)
