About the role
Who you are
- Recognised qualification in Security, Business Management or a related discipline, supported by relevant professional experience
- Proven experience identifying security risks, conducting security assurance or audit activity, and recommending pragmatic mitigation actions
- Strong knowledge of physical, technical and procedural security controls and their effective implementation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across geographically dispersed locations, with strong organisational skills
- Experience working with security-related data, reporting and analysis to support informed decision-making
- Confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders across corporate and operational functions in a global environment

- As a Security Governance and Assurance Manager, you will help drive our goals by:
- Owning and continually improving JM’s Global Security Policy, Standards and site risk classification in line with the organisation’s risk appetite
- Designing, maintaining and delivering a fit-for-purpose Level 2 security assurance programme across JM and relevant third-party sites
- Partnering with Group Security operations and business units to plan and conduct on-site security assurance audits and assessments
- Coordinating with Group Assurance and Risk teams to support the development, delivery and follow-up of Level 3 security audits
- Tracking, reporting and driving closure of actions arising from security assurance activity
- Supporting global security programmes, including penetration testing, data governance, continuous improvement initiatives and training
