About the role

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Reporting & Systems Analyst to support both reporting development and system administration functions for our ERP and field ticketing systems. This role is split approximately 70% reporting development and analytics, and 30% user setup, system administration, maintenance, and support activities.

The ideal candidate will have strong report development experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently within established timelines. This individual will work closely with business users and internal teams to develop meaningful reports, maintain system and user integrity, and support day-to-day operational needs.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES

Reporting Development & Analytics

  • Design, develop, maintain, and enhance operational and financial reports, dashboards, and data extracts.
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
  • Validate report accuracy and ensure data integrity across systems.
  • Troubleshoot reporting issues and resolve data discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the selection and implementation of a new reporting system.
  • Optimize existing reports and processes for improved performance and usability.
  • Create and maintain documentation for reports, queries, and reporting procedures.
  • Support ad hoc reporting and data analysis requests.

System Administration & Maintenance

  • Manage user setup, security access, permissions, and account maintenance within the ERP and field ticketing systems.
  • Perform routine system administration and maintenance activities.
  • Support system configuration updates and testing activities.
  • Monitor system functionality and assist with troubleshooting user and system issues.
  • Maintain user role consistency and enforce system standards and procedures.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors regarding system enhancements, issues, and support requests.
  • Assist with process improvements and system optimization initiatives.
  • Ensure tasks and support requests are completed accurately and within expected timelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

  • College diploma or university degree in the field of business, data analytics, information systems, or computer engineering, and/or related work experience in IT, Accounting or Business Administration.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in report development and data reporting environments.
  • Experience with reporting tools, SQL, Excel, and/or business intelligence platforms.
  • Knowledge of database structures and data validation techniques.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with ERP and ticketing systems such as CMiC, FieldCap, or similar platforms is an asset.
  • Existing understanding of financial and management reporting is beneficial.
