Job Title: Test Analyst Location: Edmonton, AB (5 days Onsite) Employment Type: Contract

About the Role We are seeking a Test Analyst to support the Procurement System Modernization initiative. This role will be responsible for establishing testing approaches, developing test plans, coordinating test execution, and ensuring delivered solutions meet business and functional requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and project teams to support testing activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities Review business requirements and design specifications to provide testing input. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and testing strategies. Identify testing issues and support resolution efforts. Define test scenarios, test data requirements, and testing approaches. Coordinate and facilitate test execution activities. Work with subject matter experts to validate business requirements and expected outcomes. Track, manage, and report test results, metrics, defects, and testing status. Collaborate with project teams to analyze and resolve testing issues. Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and other testing phases. Maintain testing documentation and provide status updates to project stakeholders. Support the use of automated testing and AI-assisted testing tools where applicable.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications Experience as a Test Analyst, QA Analyst, or Software Tester on enterprise application projects. Experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test strategies. Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect management processes. Experience coordinating testing activities with business users and subject matter experts. Experience gathering and managing test data. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience tracking test results, defects, and testing metrics. Ability to work collaboratively in Agile and project-based environments.

Preferred Skills Experience supporting procurement, ERP, or enterprise modernization projects. Experience with automated testing tools. Experience utilizing AI-assisted testing solutions. Public sector or government project experience. Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
