Senior Program Manager Digital Assets, Banking Location: Toronto, ON
Onsite Flexibility: Hybrid – 2 days a week onsite
Contract Details Position Type: Contract Contract Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension or conversion to FTE) Pay Rate: C$95.00–C$100.00 / Hour (CAD) Shift / Schedule: 37.5 hours/week, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday Conversion to FTE: Yes Overtime: No overtime expected Interview Process: 2 rounds; in-person interviews with Manager and VP
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to partner directly with the Managing Director of Digital Asset Technology in driving a strategic portfolio of digital asset and emerging technology initiatives. This role is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional technology programs from inception through delivery, while providing executive-level reporting, governance, financial oversight, and stakeholder coordination. The successful candidate will operate as a trusted partner to senior leadership, ensuring strategic objectives are translated into executable delivery plans and successfully implemented across business and technology teams. The ideal candidate combines exceptional program management discipline with strong executive communication skills and the ability to navigate complex organizational environments.
Key Responsibilities What Success Looks Like
Strong partnership with senior leadership teams Reliable executive reporting and governance processes Effective coordination across business and technology stakeholders Transparent management of risks, dependencies, finances, and delivery plans Consistent achievement of program objectives while maintaining stakeholder confidence
Required Experience 15 years of progressive Program Management experience leading large-scale technology initiatives Proven experience managing complex programs involving multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and delivery teams – 10 years Demonstrated success presenting to and supporting senior executives, including Managing Directors, SVPs, and VPs – 10 years Strong experience with executive reporting, governance, risk management, and portfolio oversight – 10 years
Nice-to-Have Experience Digital assets experience – Preferred Banking or financial services experience preferred
Required Skills Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Strong communication skills
Education Requirements University Degree required
