Demand Planning Manager

Mississauga, ON / Permanent (Hybrid)

Pay rate $103,220 - $137,626 (per year)

Develop and implement Demand Planning processes and procedures for all products, imported and sold in Canada to ensure we achieve operational excellence by optimizing our network in order to have the products available at the right location for our customers to meet their required delivery expectations.

Your responsibilities

• Oversee and manage demand planning systems, procedures, and trainings – define and implement improvement projects
• Coordinates local demand planning operations, ensuring the delivery to the customer
• Analysis, coordination of sales forecasting within Canada
• Drive the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process as well as ensuring necessary communications to appropriate levels
• Implement corrective actions in a timely and effective manner, contribute to strategy development
• Manage bottlenecks, drive resolution, coordinate escalation
• Responsible for overall departmental improvement
• Controlling and managing local inventory levels and strategies, including the reporting of key metrics
• Key Performance Indicator definition, implementation and reporting with investigations and corrective actions into their associated deviations
• Implementation of adopted global demand planning strategies and concepts
• Participate in regional projects, meetings, and target resolutions
• Sales and Operational planning execution by collaborating with Sales, Marketing, fulfilment to meet Business plan targets every month.
• Identify gaps in overall processes and build a synchronous flow between Planning, LO and Order Management where necessary.
• Responsible for training other planning team members on SAP IBP - Demand by working closely with Global Process owners to help with easy adaptation of key concepts for RNA. Subject Matter Expert of IBP demand.
• Responsible for implementation of IT improvements in SAP, new projects focusing on improvement.
• Creation and implementation of customer specific IT solutions pertaining to inventory feed, live pings followed by maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
• Responsible for Builder processes, KPIs, ensuring builder inventory is at optimal levels.
• Perform all other duties assigned.

Your Profile

• Four-Year College or equivalent work experience
• 7-10 Years Supply Chain Management experience - Required
• 3-5 Years Project Management experience - Required
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Deep understanding of supply chain principles
• Proficiency with SAP, Power BI, IBPR, Excel, MSWord and MS PowerPoint with good presentation skills and report writing
• Strong Time Management and Organizational skills
• Outstanding observation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills
• Strong understanding of key areas and internal systems driving supply chain and logistics processes, including sales trends, forecasting, production planning, inventory availability, product deployment, warehousing activities and transportation systems
