This role sits within a fast-growing technology environment focused on building advanced AI-driven analytics solutions for complex retail challenges such as pricing, inventory management, and assortment planning. You will contribute to the design and development of a unified analytics platform that powers decision-making for global clients across multiple industries and regions. Accountabilities: Collaborate with business stakeholders, customers, and engineering teams to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into technical solutions. Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable system components within a unified analytics platform. Contribute to overall system architecture and infrastructure decisions to ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability. Perform software analysis, debugging, and optimization to improve system reliability and efficiency. Research and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities and engineering practices. Ensure solutions are well-documented, interoperable, and aligned with technical and business requirements. Maintain and update relevant frameworks, libraries, and system dependencies. Participate in end-to-end software development lifecycle activities, including testing and deployment. Requirements: 5+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in Java and object-oriented programming principles. Hands-on experience with Java 11 or newer (Java 17 preferred), Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate. Solid understanding of SQL and relational database design. Experience with system design, software architecture, and scalable backend development. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work on complex technical challenges. Familiarity with web development concepts and backend integration patterns. Experience in retail, supply chain, or analytics platforms is considered an asset. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment. Strong communication skills and ability to manage tasks with ownership and accountability.
